How many of us wish there had been a “Finance 101” course at high school? Or if you were lucky enough to have one offered, wish you had taken it?
So many young families today find out as they go through their 20’s and 30’s (and even 40’s) that there are many aspects to the financial side of life that they had never previously realised or understood.
This short course aims to cover the broader topics of understanding your current financial situation, becoming aware of the choices available to you as an investor and how to take greater control over your own financial destiny.
It will help you understand why so many Australians “fail to plan” and how you can turn that on its head and make your own informed choices. We will cover off on budgeting, debt management (both good and bad), investments and superannuation, insurances (what is important and why) as well as Estate Planning and when you should seek professional advice to get the best results.
This course will arm you with the confidence to manage your own affairs to greater effect and show you where to find more information and assistance when you need it. An interactive course, Lisa is happy to answer questions across a broad range of issues and assist you in understanding how the different financial aspects can impact on your life and livelihood.
Please bring a pen or other writing material. Notebooks will be supplied.
